The number of support conditions, (relative) fixations and defined input motions of the mechanism must be such that the system is kinematically constrained. If there are too many constraints, the mechanism is called "over-determined".

As of SAM 8.4 it is possible to request a trial license from within the software itself, which will be processed automatically. Simply download, install and start SAM and then click the button 'request trial license' in the activation dialogue. After submitting the request you will immediately receive an email with an activation key.
You can also submit a request via the button on the right "REQUEST FREE TRIAL", it may take some time to get a response.
